Join us for an evening with actress and humanitarian Mia Farrow and Academy-award winning director Milos Forman.
7pm-Screening of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"
In 1976, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," directed by Milos Forman, became the first film in 41 years to sweep the major categories of best picture, director, actor, actress and screenplay at the Academy Awards. The film is #20 on the America Film Institute's 100 Years... 100 Movies list.
Randle McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) tries to avoid work while in prison by pretending to be mad, but his plan backfires when he is sent to a mental asylum. He tries to liven the place up a bit by playing card games and basketball with his fellow inmates, but Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher) is after him at every turn.
9pm-Q&A with Director Milos Forman led by Mia Farrow
Back by popular demand, actress and humanitarian Mia Farrow joins Academy-award winning director Milos Forman to discuss the ins and outs of the film industry. Milos Forman will reveal behind the scenes tales of working on this iconic film as well as what it's like to win the industry's most prestigous award. Audience participation is encouragew.
