Laura Daugereau is a sled dog trainer and race driver from Port Gamble, Washington. She takes great pride in giving the best care and love to each of the dogs she works with. Laura has received multiple "Best Kept Team" awards across the states over her 14 year career. The "Best Kept Team" award is voted on by the veterinarians, not only on the dogs' well being during the race, but also the attention to every detail of the dogs' health and happiness back at the kennel. This is a prestigious award in the mushing community. She believes in good sportsmanship and promoting the sport and lifestyle of dog sledding wherever she goes. She has also received several "Sportsmanship" and "Most Inspirational Musher" awards over the years!
