Elementary School Concert

Date: 12/10/2009
Time: 6:30 PM

Dear Parents,

The Lower and Upper Elementary Winter Concert will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009.

The Lower Elementary Concert will begin at 6:30 PM. All students should arrive at WMS at 6:15, go to their classrooms to leave their coats, and line up. We expect the concert to be around 30 minutes long. All students should be dressed in concert attire, which is a solid white blouse or shirt and solid black skirt or pants.

LE Parents, at the end of the Lower Elementary concert please go quickly to the classrooms to pick up your child. If you are staying for the UE Concert please go upstairs to collect your child and bring them down to enjoy the concert sitting with you. We respectfully ask that all parents keep their younger children with them and not let them go off alone to sit with their friends or on the floor in front of the seats without a parent. With so many children involved, we feel this is the best way for them to learn the concert manners modeled by their parents. Babysitting will be offered this year during the concert for any LS children (2 to 6 years old) who would not be able to enjoy the concert quietly.  If your LS child is able to enjoy the concert, we welcome them to be with us; it is wonderful for them to see a performance by the older children they look up to. Please check the weekly memo for babysitting details.

The Upper Elementary Concert will begin at 7:15. All Upper Elementary students should arrive at WMS at 7 PM, and go to the classroom (they will be gathering in one of the two classrooms) to leave coats and line up.

If your son or daughter is unable to attend the evening performance, please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange any possible solos or instrumentals.

We are delighted with the music the children have prepared. They are eager to share it with you. Come and enjoy the music!

Matilda, Laura (and Kate), Sarah Jane
