Winter Solstice Concert - Jan. 22nd

The Lower and Upper Elementary Winter Solstice Concert will be held on Monday, January 22nd. All students should be dressed in concert attire, which is a solid white blouse or shirt and solid black skirt or pants. The Lower Elementary Concert will be at 6:30 PM. All students should arrive at WMS at 6:15, go to their classrooms to leave their coats, and line up. We expect the concert to be around 30 minutes long. At the end of the Lower Elementary concert, we will take a few minutes to clear the theater.

The Upper Elementary Concert will begin at 7:15. All Upper Elementary students should arrive at WMS at 7 PM, and go to their classrooms to leave coats and line up. It is important that the children BE THERE for this concert. They have worked so hard and sound so good that it would be a shame to miss the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their work. Sometimes children get sick, or unusual situations present themselves, but I am asking you to help your child be here to support the concert. It will be worth it! This concert is the culmination of a process students have been involved in for the entire semester. The whole chorus relies on each person to sing his/her own part. The chorus can only make its beautiful, full sound with every member present. What a good model for our community!
